Sotomayor will face the fireman she said had no business getting a job he earned. If you have followed her then you know she is the judge that ruled that a group of firemen in Conneticut that passed a test for a higher paying job were unqualified not because of their scores but because no minority passed the test. Therefore since no minority passed Sotomayor ruled that any white male that passed the test would not be allowed to move up.

Recently the Supreme Court ruled Sotomayor as the Court of Appeals judge was wrong and reversed her reverse discrimination ruling. Fireman Ricci and the others will be allowed to get their raise. What else they will be allowed to do is testify at the appointment of Sotomayor. At least in some small way she will have to face the very people she kept down, poor despite the apparent ability to earn more.

I could not be more proud of these Firemen than knowing they are willing to not only face a fire, but the woman that nothing but “empathy” for these brave men!
