I will be honest and upfront. I am not past this murder spree. I worked for psychiatrists, PTSD is real. I would never dispute that. War can be horrific, but Psychs are trained to deal with very mentally ill patients. That is their specialty after all. They are a full medical doctor first then a Psychiatrist. They hear horrifying stories from patients all day long, that is the job. Some stories are true some are a part of mental illness. The murderer who I refuse to name could not possibly obtain PTSD when he had spent one second of deployment. Ask a Vietnam Vet, Desert Storm or Iraqi Freedom Vet the reality of the situation pales in comparison what they are prepared for.
The fact that the murderer emailed an Imon between 10-20 times but was allowed to stay active military is frightening. There is a lot of information that needs to be combed through. This guy frequently referred to Muslims first, Military second.
The broad memorial service is today, but the private burials will happen later. Obama has decided it is time to grace his presence today. High past time Obama came to talk to family members that have been dealing with this situation.

This post is hard one. My heart is still reeling from the mass shooting by an Officer on Fort Hood. The vote of healthcare is less than forty-eight hours away. This incident is one very good reason that national healthcare should not happen. Scott and White and Seton Medical Center were able to handle the stress of all the injured were well taken care of. Taken care well enough that the shooter Dr. Hasan survived. I know the families of the injured were grateful their family was handled as first priorities coming in the hospitals.
Also the fact that Obama has made no decision about Afghanistan and the number needed or will he will withdraw troops has made this situation painful. Nobody actually wants to go or fight in a place where you have a slim chance of doing well. Our military deserve a Commander in Chief, and Obama is sorely lacking in being any type of Commander other than to try to bully Fox News. If he put half the energy into the Military as he did the battle of Fox News, maybe I would feel confident about him.
Let me clarify for you, Hasan took the gun and killed people. Obama by lack of his own discipline has done nothing to prevent more military from being killed today in Afghanistan and Iraq. Soldiers already there were checking twitter looking for updates, their kids were on post. All the hype was hard for them, imagine you are fighting a war and you are worried if someone is shooting your child. Fort Hood finally opened up for those to get the kids and those that live on post but were out in the town after 7 PM.
Many feel betrayed by their own around here, no one expected it to be a soldier shooting. Obama cannot blame Bush on this mess. Bush used to land on Ft Hood when he came home to Crawford. I can only pray Obama will do something for our military.

I found this I thought it was more than worth sharing. Nothing is more precious to a mom than her kids, these kids need money, and more troops any waste of time playing golf and basketball is not helping these moms sleep at night. Their sons and daughters are in harms way, today 24/7. Obama needs to make a decision and do Something.

In Afghanistan it is the deadliest year ever for American Soldiers, but all Barack Hussein Obama can spare is 25 minutes, and don’t ask him to come to Afghanistan. Bring the General to Denmark, yeah that is the ticket. That way Barack Hussein Obama will not have to get his hands dirty, and he can do exactly what he actually wants to do. Bash Bush while apologizing for America, while tap dancing for foreign countries and the IOC.
Think about it, many in the military are the same color as Barack Hussein Obama, many supported him in hopes of ending the war. But he does not have time to tap dance for them, he is too busy doing a date night, talking the IOC, David Letterman, Meet the Press, you name it his dance card is too full for the men and women literally fighting for their lives.
Frankly this is not even a conservative issue, this is an issue that speaks to Barack Hussein Obama’s character passing a massive spending bill and a healthcare bill is more important than spending thirty minutes dealing with a war gone to he&* in a hand basket.
For those liberals that think I am out of line here, he ran on the issue of ending the war, protecting those that serve and listening to the men in the trenches. Hard to do if you have yet to step one toe in Afghanistan since January 21,2009.
God save our men and women, God knows our President has turned his back on them.

Americans are not safe. If you watch the Captain Phillips actions, then you know he saved his crew. The Navy called in the FBI. Why on earth would a Navy Seal need the FBI? Answer is they don’t! Swoop in and rescue, that is the Military’s speciality.
When the hostages have been rescued in Iraq the FBI wasn’t called in. The military had the ability do what they know best, and do best. Swoop in, rescue and secure the building. The day you start “negioations” with terriorists on a boat holding an American captive we as Americans are no longer safe. You might as well be Carter or Clinton, bomb a ship, take an embassy hostage we aren’t coming. We will sit on our hands, run the odds all the while the Americans are taking daily beatings.
If Captain Phillips had not saved his crew, it is clear The One wouldn’t have helped any of them. This is an American in a small boat with a bunch of Thugs. Shoot them, ask questions later. Get the Captain safe, save an American.
Nope. The One wants to focus on “housing”, and the “economy” because so far he has spent money we didn’t have, and has done nada for either. No amount of slight of hand is going to shut up any conservative.
We are not safe. He did bow to a Saudi King that controls a portion of OPEC, he won’t save an American Hostage. He has spent more money in a few months than any President in history.
My best advise is arm yourself, and stay the heck in America. You will not be helped by anyone if you become a hostage.
Just for reference let’s look at who is in charge of OPEC. Here is a LIST of Members.

There are a few stories that in my journey of life that stick with me. When GaGa passed away last year, her son told me such a story that moved me. GaGa’s son is an airline pilot, a man I have known for most of my life. He is a man I respect and trust. He has worked harder than any person I know to get to where he is, he started out as a police officer, and ended up in Naval Flight training school. So now as a retired Navy officer and a current airplane pilot he told a group of us about the transfers of military men and women coming home. He has seen it happen more than a few times. Since he used to fly the carrier flights to stations all over the world, cargo is something he just got to used to. But taking a fallen soldier back home is something that moves him each and every time. The interesting point is how he says the passengers act when they know a fallen soldier is on board. I found his recount touching. I wish I could do it justice. I know when I heard it I thought it was one of the best representations of what every fallen hero deserves.
I am thrilled to say that HBO Films saw what I saw, and one man was sweet enough to write down his journey.

Remember each and every man or woman that is killed overseas has this process. As we go about our daily lives, those that are grieving for their boys and girls to come back home with honor can know during the journey their babies are treated with respect and honor. It is by far the least that we can do for the people that keep us safe at home.

You don’t have to watch it, but I love it. Right now my brother works for the military. My dad and Father in Law both served in World War II. We have a choice to know that regardless of what anyone thinks on either side of the isle these men and women are doing a job few are brave enough to think about. It is with great honor that I post this video. I am more about content than many bloggers, but I also know when video says more than my words can express. This video does this.
