That is John Cornyn’s words about what the healthcare bill in the Senate Finance Bill that Olympia Snowe voted yes on. The reason it was called Alice in Wonderland is because there is no actual written bill for the committee to read. And if there was, the bill is null and void as soon as the vote was over. Why because they will roll this crap bill into the other five bills that the Democrats love. The Republican bills have been ignored, any concept they both agree on like pre-existing conditions, is null and void.
In other words Snowe is believing in the fairies in the Senate. Somehow magical dust will fly from the sky and the cost will vanish. The taxes on a cadillac plan (like ours because we have dental coverage and low prescription copays) will magically vanish.
No it won’t, sorry Wonderland doesn’t exist. There are no magical fairies in the Senate. In the Senate we have men and women that may or may not represent what the people want.
We as the grassroots cannot let this dragon go. Since the CBO has some half good news, word is many blue dog democrats, and some republicans will vote yes on the national healthcare bill.
Even though for every medical procedure a patient has that the equipment is over $100.00 (many and vast) will be taxed. What it looks like is you will be paying for having insurance, getting less treatment, and be paying taxes on certain procedures you need no matter the reason why. Most women have a PAP smear, it is one that will be taxed because the kit is over $100.00.
Dick Morris had a great article on Snowe and Lincoln. Look HERE.
The Hill details the bill costs and analysis by CBO HERE.
If that is not enough look Rachel Maddow is even saying there is pressure.
Mark Levin is perhaps the best conservative radio talkshow host today. When Mark listens to drivel and screams “Get off the phone you big Dope!” It is wonderful, he says what so many feel deep down. He is thoughtful and targeted in what we as a country need to do. Mark is who got the Marine Off the Couch as he says. This is a great interview.
Anyone else motivated? Now if you are, contact me for help getting involved in real politics on a grassroots level. I will get you the name of you area contact. Primaries are coming up and we as conservatives need help.
Here finally is the response from the White House how hundreds not a few people received emails from David Axlerod straight from the freshly published hands of lawyers.
Whom you choose to believe is up to you. The alarming reality I know is if HB 3200 goes through the banking information and medical records for every American will be shared with the government. You can take bits and pieces out of HB 3200 but it will not change the fact that it is a badly written intrusive bill. But then again I tend to think that the WhiteHouse or the DNC gained emails through ways they should not have.
Here is a revealing video thanks to a twitter friend.
I don’t prefer Public education. Matter of fact one can argue that private education is one of the revealing non equalization of poverty. If you think about it, throwing money at public schools has yet to raise scores, yet if you allow school choice the test scores are raised. DC schools were at the bottom until school choice was allowed. The One took care of that, now DC kids are left to try to learn in public school again.
This video is a congresswoman that has no problem saying that Public Healthcare is better than Private Healthcare. Considering where our kids are compared to kids worldwide, I think Public Healthcare is not a good choice, but her bold speech is interesting to me.
My career has been in accounting and medical field. I have worked admissions in a in-patient psychiatric hospital and in a local hospital. What I saw in the local hospital was a few people used the Emergency Room as a private clinic.
We would pray during full moon nights, or if the person was bored. If I knew their name you can bet they were abusing the ER. With the abuse became financial hardship, not on their part but on patients that used the Emergency Room as needed. When you are providing care regardless of payment, it has to be collected somewhere.
If you think I am exaggerating, you would be wrong!
